Thanksgiving Card
Thanksgiving Card Homemade

This card makes use of recycled materials for embellishments. The large leaves are actually cupcake toppers. I used Psalm 100:4 for my quote on the front of the card.

Materials

  • Green Card Stock Cut to 6" wide x 10 1/2" in length - fold width wise
  • Green Card Stock Cut to 6" wide x 1" in length
  • Red Card Stock Cut 6" wide x 1 1/2" length
  • Red Card Stock Cut to 3 1/8" x 3 1/8"
  • Card Stock with antique parchment finish design cut to 2 3/4" x 2 3/4" - if you use your computer to print the quote, do your printing before you cut the piece.
  • Decorative Leaf Brads
  • Two large leaves (I used old cupcake toppers) - you can also use cut outs or silk
  • Glue Stick

Card Instructions

Cut all card stock to sizes specified. Crimp red pieces. Glue parchment paper with quote onto red crimped square and glue to the front of the card. Take green rectangle and use a push pin to make holes for the brads. Push the brads through and glue the green piece to the red crimped rectangle piece. Glue the large leaves to the card. If your embellishments are heavy, use a glue gun or craft glue.
