Going Away Card
Materials
- Card stock - three contrasting colors
- Ribbon
- Tag
- Vellum Quote
- Decorative Brads
- Glue Dots & Glue Stick
- Scalloped decorative scissors
Card Instructions
Form a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2-inch side-folded card from pink card stock. Form a 4 1/2 x 5 3/4-inch card from green card stock and trim with scalloped scissors. Glue to the inside of the pink card stock. Cut out vellum quote to the size you want and then cut a card from the green card stock approximately 1/2-inch larger than your quote and trim with scalloped scissors. Insert brads on all four corners - I use a pushpin to pre-make holes so the brads go in easier. Cut contrasting pink strip of card stock. Decorate tag with cut outs or brads. Loop ribbon through tag and tie around pink strip. Glue the pink strip down. Attach Vellum card over pink strip with glue dots.
